Connections for the right people
Connect the admin or teammate from Team settings. An account connected for one provider should not be assumed to represent the availability of every teammate.
Control the organizer
The current service settings let you choose admin or assigned-teammate ownership. An optional admin invitation keeps the shop owner included in teammate events.
Updates follow booking changes
The 2026 calendar update documents a shared rescheduling process across Google, Outlook and Zoom. If the resolved host changes, the event can be recreated under the new host.

Three steps to your first test booking.

Choose the account
In Shopify, open Cowlendar, select Team and edit the relevant teammate. In General, choose Connect Outlook and sign into the intended Microsoft account.

Assign the service and organizer
Check which teammate delivers the service and review Meeting organizer in the service settings. Choose whether the admin should be invited to teammate-owned events.

Verify creation and changes
Make a test booking, then reschedule it from Cowlendar. Confirm the event, host and customer information in Outlook before using the flow with customers.
KNOW HOW IT BEHAVES
An Outlook event is not a blanket sync promise.
Event creation, busy-time blocking and editing a booking from an external calendar are different capabilities. Use Cowlendar for the tested change workflow
Do not assume that deleting an Outlook event has the same booking-cancellation behavior as the optional Google Calendar control.
Microsoft account access matters
Check that the account can authorize the connection. Your organization may manage app permissions centrally.
Check the time zone and host
A correct calendar event should show the expected service time and the provider who will actually deliver it.

Can I connect individual teammates?
Yes. Edit the relevant teammate in Cowlendar’s Team area and connect Outlook. Review the service organizer settings afterward.
Will a Cowlendar reschedule update Outlook?
The 2026 integration guide documents rescheduling logic shared by Outlook, Google and Zoom, including re-hosting when the assigned organizer changes. Test the flow for your connected accounts.
Can I delete an Outlook event to cancel a booking?
Do not assume this behavior. The documented opt-in external cancellation control is specifically described for Google Calendar. Manage the booking in Cowlendar unless support confirms another supported workflow.
