Flows tied to booking activity
Create metric-triggered flows for new, confirmed, declined, rescheduled or cancelled bookings. You choose which Cowlendar events are enabled.
Send Cowlendar booking activity and customer information to Klaviyo. Build confirmations, timely reminders and follow-ups around the appointment itself, with the brand and flow controls your marketing team already uses.

Scheduled reminder, ended and follow-up events use the appointment date and time. The guide documents handling booking changes before those scheduled events are sent.
Sync customer statistics such as total bookings and total spent to Klaviyo profiles. Use the available data to distinguish first-time, returning or high-value customers.
A package-purchased event supports subscription or booking-package welcome flows. Ready-made templates help you start with relevant booking messages.
Open Cowlendar → Settings → Klaviyo. Enable the beta integration and create the private key with the permissions in the guide. Enter it only in Cowlendar’s private settings and test the connection.
Enable the relevant events, then make a test booking. In Klaviyo → Analytics → Metrics, confirm the metric and inspect the actual event properties.
Create a metric-triggered flow and preview its email or SMS with a real test event. Keep Cowlendar notifications active until the replacement messages are tested and live; then disable the matching duplicates.
Use the exact metric that matches the customer action. A placed booking is different from an approved request, an attended visit or the purchase of a session package. Preview event properties in Klaviyo rather than guessing template variables.
The current connection guide labels the integration beta. Follow that guide for the latest setup and event behavior.
Only turn off a matching Cowlendar notification after its replacement Klaviyo flow is tested and live.
Klaviyo subscription and messaging charges are separate. Apply your customer messaging preferences and consent settings to the flows you publish.
These are the metric names documented for the beta integration. Enable the events you need, send a test event and use the resulting metric in a Klaviyo flow.
